Across the spectrum of aviation stakeholders, push back to the usage of even more "naked X-ray" machines is growing.

From a security perspective, here is the most important thing about the machines: they can't detect body-cavity bombs, which al-qaeda has already tested and deployed.

Alcohol is the leading driver of air rage. One of the subsets is BYOB (Bringing Yours On-Board).

As alcohol is readily available for sale AFTER security checkpoints at most airports, passengers can freely carry-on their purchases.

In order to push more passengers to expose themselves to the naked body screeners, TSA has instituted a new "pat down" measure which is designed to find "resistance" on your body.
